Ministries
Blue Prints - The Foundations of Our Faith
Blue Prints provides the foundational teachings of the Christian faith. This ministry is geared for all Christians but especially new Christians and newcomers to Prospect Church. This is one way we make disciples at Prospect because we deeply believe that Christians need to be firm and well-versed in sound Christian doctrine and the Bible.
Coffee and Conversations Cafe Ministry
Fellowship is one the pillars of Prospect Church. We love making space for conversations (and coffee!) regularly. Our cafe ministry is the 2nd Sunday of the month immediately after the worship service.
Embraced Women's Group
Embraced is a safe place where joys and burdens are shared, friendships are cultivated, and the abundance of God's love is experienced.
Forged Men's Group
Proverbs 27:17 states that iron sharpens iron, so it is with one man to another. Forged Men's Group meets Sunday morning during Sunday School from 9:30-10:15am. This group is reclaiming biblical manhood and is all about accountability, brotherhood and growing in the Lord! Let's face it, manhood is under attack in our culture and at Prospect Church we want to encourage strong male leadership because our society needs men to be men!
Kids Church
We love to provide kids with a church experience and discipleship that matches their interests, way of learning and maximum understanding of who Jesus is. Each week during the worship service, Kids Church is happening for ages birth through middle school! The kids engage in worship, a lesson, crafts and games.
Lamb Tots
Lamb Tots occurs on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10-11:15am. This is a community wide program for kids preschool age and under to attend with their parents or caregiver. Lamb Tots includes a Bible lesson, crafts, skill development, music and fun!
Nations and Neighbors Missions Ministry
We take seriously the Great Commission and desire to reach people near and far with the love of God. Through Nations and Neighbors, we support missionaries, Adam and Hailey Lentz and Lowell and Claudia Wertz (Joy in the Harvest) and several local ministries, as well as assist individuals as needs arise.
Praise Team
A team of vocalist, musicians and tech support that love God and love to worship him through live music.
Prayer Warriors - Don't Battle Alone
Meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month, 7-8pm, to discuss current prayer concerns for individuals, the church, our community and the world.
Snippets of Joy
This ministry focuses on the spiritual disciplines of our faith and helping each other grow more and more into faithful followers of Jesus. Fasting, Scripture Meditation, Prayer, Gathering, and Serving are focused areas for Snippets of Joy.
Sunday School - Adult and Children
The current Adult Sunday School Classes are Forged Men's Group, Book Study on Christian Life Principles and Senior Adult Life Application. These classes meet on Sundays at 9:30-10:15am.
Together with Tea - Widow/Widower Ministry
Losing a spouse is a significant loss and the loneliness that accompanies that kind of loss is life altering. This ministry supports widows and widowers in their distress, pain and loneliness.
Women's Society
Women's Society meets the 2nd Friday of every month. This women's group meets for fellowship, a lesson, and to address community needs.
